Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Avco is a licensed and insured South Florida commercial contractor. Our Florida contractor license number and insurance carrier are listed on the site at go-live so you can verify them.
Do you handle older buildings with lead paint?+
Properties built before 1978 can contain lead paint and call for EPA lead-safe (RRP) practices. We follow lead-safe practices on pre-1978 buildings, common across our South Florida condo client base. Ask us about your property when you request your estimate.
How long does a project take?+
It depends on the size of the property and how much prep or restoration is involved. We give you a clear timeline along with your written estimate, and we keep you posted as the work moves.
Do you coordinate with our property manager or board?+
Yes. We work directly with property managers, HOA boards, and GCs on scope, access, and scheduling to keep disruption to a minimum.
Is waterproofing only available with a painting project?+
No. Waterproofing is one of our core services and is available standalone, independent of any painting scope.
Do you handle concrete restoration for building recertifications?+
We handle the concrete restoration and coating scope. Confirm with us directly what your specific recertification requires.
